Dr. Jordi Rumià Arboix

Un cop completada la residència en Neurocirurgia a l’Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, em vaig formar en Cirurgia de l’Epilèpsia a la Universitat de Califòrnia a Los Angeles (UCLA) i en Cirurgia del Parkinson a la Universitat de Grenoble. A finals de 1994 ja vaig tornar com a especialista en Neurocirurgia a l’Hospital Clínic, on vam iniciar el programa multidisciplinari de Neurocirurgia Funcional i Estereotàctica, que hem estat desenvolupant i ampliant a més patologies i a pacients pediàtrics —en col·laboració amb l’Hospital Sant Joan de Déu— de manera ininterrompuda al llarg de gairebé tres dècades. Compartir aquesta experiència dins de l’equip de l’Institut Clavel per proporcionar tractament neuroquirúrgic per a les malalties neurològiques greus a més persones és un projecte molt atractiu.
