Dr. Jordi Rumià Arboix

Una vez completada mi residencia en Neurocirugía en el Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, me formé en Cirugía de la Epilepsia en la Universidad de California en Los Ángeles (UCLA) y en Cirugía del Parkinson en la Universidad de Grenoble. A finales de 1994 regresé ya como Especialista en Neurocirugía al Hospital Clínic, donde iniciamos el programa multidisciplinar de Neurocirugía Funcional y Estereotactica, que hemos estado desarrollando y ampliando a más patología y a pacientes pediátricos -en colaboración con el Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu- de manera ininterrumpida a lo largo de casi tres décadas. Compartir esta experiencia dentro del Equipo del Instituto Clavel para proporcionar tratamiento neuroquirúrgico para enfermedades neurológicas graves a más personas es un proyecto muy atractivo.
