SPECIALIST IN SPINE SURGERY AND MINIMALLY-INVASIVE SPINE SURGERY.
Throughout my residency training as a Neurosurgeon, I was always intrigued by spinal pathology and the possibility of solving problems that are so disabling for the patients we treat. However, I saw that the surgical approaches used were sometimes more aggressive that the problem itself that we wanted to treat. During my training abroad I was able to learn techniques that are hardly used in Europe – techniques that respect the structures of the body, allowing us to treat problems with the same efficiency, but offering patients a faster recovery.
At the Instituto Clavel I have found a leading center in Spain that works mainly using these minimally invasive techniques. It is an honor for me to be able to continue with my training and contribute my knowledge in these innovative techniques that are, without a doubt, so beneficial for patients compared to classical techniques.
